Yahoo Layoffs – Take 3 – Bay Area Companies Still Hiring
Possible Yahoo layoffs were announced last month. Details as to who was going to be let go were not released until today when the actual layoffs began. According to Adage.com, employees that have been handed their pink-slip have been reaching out to the Twitter and Blog world, letting us all know what is going on inside the world of Yahoo.
Can you feel the tension in the air? I bet they can over at the Yahoo headquarters. Employees are wondering if they will have to take the dreaded walk over to HR. Even those over at Silicon Valley Insider are unsure if these layoffs will affect them.
Looks like it is time for us to work our magic with those laid off. Companies are still hiring and as recruiters it is our job to find those people who got laid off and help them find new work. So we will be mining the Twittersphere and Blog world, reaching out to those who were affected by the Yahoo layoffs to see if we could lend a helping hand.
