• Seattle Monthly Information Architecture Meetup – Once a month, we’ll get together to have drinks, chat, network, and geek out with fellow information architects, librarians, usability experts, user experience designers, and other like-minded people. It’s open to anyone, so bring a friend — especially those in other local organizations! The format will be casual, but all are encouraged to bring something to discuss — recent work, an interesting topic, or even your resume.

• Seattle Lunch 2.0 at Blue Gecko – Happy Hour – Seattle Lunch 2.0’s Anniversay Event will be starting of the super geek weekend!! We have the honor of having BlueGecko host our anniversary bash!! BlueGecko is Seattle’s own remote DBA company, keeping your MySQL and Oracle databases up and running. We will get the inside scoop on how they work their magic…. and of course get to meet some of their MySQL Gurus!! It also just so happens that this happy hour event will be the start of a long geek weekend!!
