Those in the Tech World know Meg Whitman as the CEO of Ebay’s, those in the political world know her as a GOP campaign backer for Mitt Romney and John McCain. For all others her name is little known, until recently when she announced that she will be running for Governor of California.
The NewYork Times Caucus states Whitman saying:
California faces challenges unlike any other time in its history — a weak and faltering economy, massive job losses, and an exploding state budget deficit. California is better than this, and I refuse to stand by and watch it.
We have to wait to hear what her plan for California will be, but for now do you think Meg Whitman will be a successful governor of California? Seeing her dealings at Ebay and her lack of political experience?

I think Meg Whitman is a very logical choice for the next governor of California. The greatest governor this state has ever had was Reagan, and most will agree that Schwarzenegger isn’t doing a half bad job either. How about Romney in Massachusetts? All had no prior political experience a state is very much like a business with a budget and revenue, so logically the best people to run the “business” of California are going to be business men and women. Meg helped grow eBay from a company of 30 people and a couple million in revenue to a Fortune 500 international powerhouse with nearly 15,000 employees and billions of dollars coming in. We need entrepreneurs running our state, not politicians and because of this I think she can do a fabulous job.
